Shauna Van Dyke

Meet Your Stylist & Lash Technician
Hello everyone! My name is Shauna, and I am a licensed cosmetologist and certified lash technician with more than 21 years in the beauty industry and over 18 years behind the chair.
I am proud to serve as the Salon Manager at Lakeside Salon, a role I have been honored to hold since the salon’s new ownership was established in 2023.
My first passion in the beauty industry was hair color, and it remains one of my favorite services to provide. I am also passionate about lash extensions and have been certified in lash artistry since 2015.
My goal with every client is to help them look and feel their very best while creating a personalized experience that builds confidence and enhances their natural beauty.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is the opportunity to meet new people, build lasting relationships, and be a part of my clients’ lives. It is a privilege that I truly cherish.

Spending quality time with my husband and two daughters
Taking walks with Charley, our family dog
Enjoying sunny days whenever I can
Spending time out on the boat
Cheering on my daughters at their sporting events
You can typically find me in the salon Monday through Thursday. I look forward to meeting each of you and helping make your experience at Lakeside Salon exceptional—from the moment you walk through our doors to the completion of your service.

Piper
Stylist/Lash Artist
Hi! As some of you may know my name is Piper! I’ve been in industry for over two years. And my main services include hair and lash extensions! I just recently moved to the community and couldn’t be loving it more!
When I’m not in the salon, you can find me running around the community doing odd jobs, at the lake with my dog Clover or with my friends!
A fun fact about me is I made it a goal to go to a concert every month! so far this year I’ve been to 6!
My books are open 6 days a week with evenings and weekends available! I’d love to have you in my chair and get to know you next!
Kendra
Stylist/ Nail Artist
Hello, I am Kendral! I have been in the cosmetology industry for almost 2 years now.
I offer hair, nail, and makeup services and recently started offering brow and lash laminations as well. While I do offer a variety of services, I do have a special interest in all things nails!
Outside of the salon I enjoy:
Reading and board games
Going for walks with my dog, Charles
Spending time with my family
One last fun fact about me is that I was a dancer throughout high school and now help coach dance in the winter season.
I am available Monday-Friday, with evening hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the occasional Saturday!

Adelyda
Stylist/ Nail Artist
Hey there! As some of you may know my name is Adelyda and I have been a stylist at Lakeside Salon & Spa for over 2 years now.
I offer all hair services including hand-tied hair extensions, nails and even several waxing services. I find so much enjoyment offering a variety of services it’s truly hard to pick a favorite!
Outside of the salon I enjoy:
Traveling on my free time
Spending time outdoors
Hanging out with family and friends
One last fun fact about me is that I still have my childhood cat who is now 17 years old.
I am available Monday’s, Wednesday evenings as well as Thursday and Friday and the occasional Saturday.

Ashlyn
Esthetician
Hi! I’m Ashlyn, an Advanced Practice Esthetician specializing in holistic skincare, body waxing, and advanced dermaplaning. I’ve been passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin since entering the beauty industry in 2016.
Before entering the beauty industry, I spent 16 years as a competitive dancer and later coached dance for about 7 years. Dance taught me discipline, confidence, and the importance of helping others grow—qualities I still bring into my work every day.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll usually find me cheering on my kids at their activities. On the rare occasion I get a little “mom time,” I love enjoying the luxury of a quiet house, binge-watching Chicago Med, or relaxing in a hot bath with no interruptions!
Giving back to my community is something I care deeply about. I am a Board Member of Community Closet, an organization that supports individuals and families by providing free clothing and everyday essentials.
I am also a member of the Carter Bremseth Memorial Foundation, which is dedicated to raising mental health and suicide awareness while supporting families who have experienced a loss by suicide. In addition, I participate each year in the Out of the Darkness Walk with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, an event that holds a special place in my family’s heart.
I am currently pursuing my degree as a Legal Assistant and look forward to graduating in December 2026.
You’ll typically find me in the salon Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday, helping clients achieve their skincare goals and feel confident in their own skin.
I am so grateful to be able to combine my passion for skincare with helping others feel their best, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Fun Fact: Between competitive dance and coaching, I spent over 20 years involved in the dance world before pursuing my career in aesthetics!
Kierra
Massage Therapist
Hi, I’m Kierra, a certified Massage Therapist specializing in Therapeutic & Relaxation massage as well as Pregnancy massage, various spa treatments and makeup! I have been practicing for a little over 2 years and recently joined with Lakeside Salon & spa about 5 months ago!
In addition to being an entrepreneur, you’ll occasionally see me working concessions at Smilin D Arena and coaching NL’s JO volleyball. When not working I enjoy cooking/baking, riding my horses, playing on my sand volleyball league, spending time with my fur babies at home, hanging out with friends and family, and going on adventures with my fiancé and his two kids.
A fun fact about me is that I am also certified in equine massage, so I practice bodywork on horses as well!!
I am available in the salon Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and occasional Saturdays. I am available for equine massage occasional Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
